Sister Mary Shea (below) grew up in Our Lady of Lourdes parish before joining the Sisters of Charity. She returned to raise support for their mission in Kenya.
The Knights of Columbus assisted her by providing a hot dog-hamburger fundraising cookout after the 1130am Mass on Pentecost Sunday. She raised over $17,000 for the mission and renewed many friendships.

Camp Joshua
Our Lady of Lourdes hosted the 2-day pro-life leadership camp for high school students on June 13th and 14th and promoted the event to area high school youth and families. This is one of only two camps in North Carolina. The camp at Our Lady of Lourdes served the eastern part of the state.
