Knights of Columbus is a men’s Catholic fraternal service organization founded to provide charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism. Knights actively support other parish ministries, especially through cooking and food service. It provides men with a vehicle for building up the parish community and family life. Children's Liturgy of the Word (CLOW) is back!
Now that we have enough trained volunteers, we have restarted CLOW. The turnout for the first session was very good and the children were delighted to learn more about God and His love for us.
Children's Liturgy of the Word call young children (3-7) forward before the Scripture readings of the 9am Sunday Mass to leave the congregation and process to the Fallon Center to celebrate and reflect on the Sunday Gospel reading in an age-appropriate way. The children are led by parental volunteers through prayers, songs and readings that are adapted to their level of understanding.
