OLL News: Msgr Ingham, Rosary and Blarney Bash
Daylight savings time begins at 2am on Sunday morning. "Spring forward, fall back"
At 2am or later, advance your clocks an hour.
Monsignor Jeffrey Ingham
is our new Administrator and friend of Our Lady of Lourdes parish.
Msgr. Ingham was Pastor of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish from 1989 to 2000. During that time he oversaw the construction of the Fallon Center and our current Parish Office building. Msgr. Jeffrey was
instrumental in the establishment of our Adoration Chapel. Welcome, Monsignor!
meets at 2:15pm every Tuesday afternoon during the school year. We sit and pray either inside the Fallon Center or outside at the picnic tables near the gym, depending on the weather. Come and join us. You don't have to come every week and you don't need to know how to pray the rosary. We have handouts that are very clear. Bring the little children too. Why pray the rosary? Peace, closeness to Jesus, and there are so many things to pray for these days!
You don't have to have children in the school, but if you do it does count toward the required school service hours!
A beautiful witness ...that did not go unnoticed!!!
This year’s Knights of Columbus "Blarney Bash”
will be held on Saturday, March 16, 6:00 – 11:00 PM in the Fallon Center. Tickets are $25.00 per adult and include an authentic Irish dinner and desert catered by High Park Bar and Grill, wine/beer and other beverages, a performance by the Inis Cairde School of Irish Dance, a 50/50 raffle and dancing with music provided by a professional DJ.
If you have never been to the “Knights Blarney Bash”, just talk to any of your parishioners who have attended in the past and they will tell you it is one of the best events that the Knights hold.
Come out and have a great time and bring your friends – “all are welcome”.
For tickets: call Bob Povlock at 919-949-9049 or pick them up at the
parish or school offices. by John Schultz
I have been advised that the white letters on a dark background does not display well on cell phones. Thanks for the feedback. I'll only use black letters on a very light background from here on.
