continues to grow and contribute. Thanks to a generous contribution from an OLL parishioner the long-waited installation of a new fence (above) was completed.
This significant milestone for the Lourdes Bounty Community Garden, essentially increases the garden area from 2,800 sf to about 3,800 sf. It also enables us to add additional beds and lastly to increase our annual harvest production.
On a cumulative basis, we have donated 1,200 pounds since we started in 2016 to the end of 2018. We believe we can achieve an annual donation of 1,000 pounds of food to needy families. by Greg Estrella

to the Meg and Mike Fender story that we reported last week. Candace Sperati (OLL Marriage Coordinator) adds the following: “Meg and Mike received a convalidation. They exchanged their marriage vows in a sacred place with Father Mike Schuetz present, making their union valid within the Church.”
