OLL News: Homes and the Handicapped
We pray for you and yours a
grace-filled New Year
Habitat Wake ReStore
is part of the
Habitat for Humanity
organization. Habitat for Humanity partners with people who have a need for housing and partner with them to build them a home.
The ReStore takes furniture donations that they sell for a reasonably low price. The money then goes into buying land and materials for houses.
volunteers helped fix and organize the donations so people will be willing to buy them. Alex Cooley, the manager of Habit Wake ReStore, says that his favorite part of working there is, “Getting to see all the donations and the people who shop here.” The Restore is an amazing organization that is always helping to give back to the community.
