OLL News: Veterans, Youth, Scripture and a Rally
Our Young Church middle school group
gathered for an Advent sharing night to be a light of caring and love to those in need. They put together 75 gift bags for our military men and women that are in the Veterans Hospital in Durham. They also assembled many hygiene bags to keep in family cars and hand out to those in need when seen as they travel about with their families. They had fun (Bible jeopardy) and prayed in thanksgiving for what they have and their ability to share with those in need. They gave thanks also for the generosity of Dr. Pennisi and Dr. Bell and the other parishioners who donated the hygiene products and other supplies. Thank you to the Core Team members who share their time, talent and treasures with our young church.
