Family of Curtin Day
"We are both, praise God, fully recovered. We no longer need to be on the list. We are so thankful for all the prayers." from Scott and Ann Thomas
On May 2 members of the Legion of Mary participated in the May Crowning of the Blessed Virgin Mary statue in the OLL grotto. Masked and 6 feet apart they prayed the Rosary, sang and visited the columbarium to pray for deceased members.
From one of our parishioners that made telephone calls to our seniors -
"I'm more than happy to help in this way! My 91 year old lady that I call weekly had a refrigerator that the compressor may have been going bad. She was really worried about losing her food. When asked why she didn't call me, as I had previously given her my number, she replied that she didn't call me, because she likes to be independent!
I felt good about giving her the name and number of an appliance repairman who has a 4.9 rating. Helping like this helped her calm down and at the same time warms my heart. I look forward to receiving more names to call."
From another of our callers -
"We have the nicest people in our parish!
One couple didn't answer so I left a message. Later they did call back to say they're fine for now, but that it's a comfort to have someone call and to know they can contact someone if there's a problem as they have no family here."

Spiritual Adoption - Month Three - Developing Bab
Your baby is quite active in the womb now - - although his/her mother won’t feel him/her for another couple of months. If his/her mother’s womb had a window, you could watch your spiritually adopted baby squint, swallow and move his/her tongue. He/she can make a tight fist if you touch his/her palm. He/she is breathing fluid which he continues until birth. He/she obtains the oxygen his/her body needs through the umbilical cord. The baby you are praying for weighs one ounce.
