OLL News: Saints, Prayer, Louise, and Youth
have been added to the church at Our Lady of Lourdes. Saints Elizabeth Ann Seton, John Henry Neumann, Pope Pius X, and Padre Pio
now reside in our sanctuary, hopefully to serve as inspirations to our individual spiritualities. Please stop by and contemplate their contributions to our faith.

One of the OLL Prayer Warriors
A member of OLL for 32 years, Louise Guyton has prayed the rosary daily since she was a teenager. Growing up in Milwaukee WI, she attended Catholic schools and credits the Sisters of Notre Dame for instilling in her a love of the Blessed Mother.
Louise met her future husband Tom when he served in the Marine Corps. They were married 35 years, have four children, four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
She says of her devotion to the Blessed Mother, “She has never let me down." Louise describes prayer as part of her daily life and some days prays the rosary two or three times, “depending on who I’m praying for.”
Her advice to mothers today -- “teach by example.” That example was instilled by her own mother, a devout woman who never missed Mass. And the reminder by the Sisters who taught her, “You are a temple of God. Act accordingly.”
